Macro Friday

It's time for Macro Friday again.  Head on over to Blogging From Bolivia to check out all the amazing entries.  Makes me really want to get a macro lens.  LOL.  Kind of difficult to shoot macro without a macro lens, but it is still fun to try.  :)

Every year we say we are going to plant a garden in the back yard and every year we end up with planter boxes with veggies and a few tomato plants thrown in the spot by our porch.  But... things do grow there.  The kids are supper excited about their cucumbers.  They LOVE cucumbers and can't wait to see how these taste.  They don't care for tomatoes so much, but they do like to pick them.  And, they love the name "Bloody Butcher" and like the idea of "Zebra Stripe" tomatoes.

My Macro Friday entry is the top photo... though I couldn't decide between the two.

I think these are great macro shots, with or without a macro lens. I also wanted to say that I'm your newest follower and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Have a great weekend.

Great shots! I love how well you can see the plant's "hairs." Love the vibrant colors and the lighting is just right! :)

Those are great shots with the camera you have. Sorry I'm late commenting - holiday time here - hopefully I'll be quicker when you submit a macro tommorrow :)
