It's not the right time of year, but I've been singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Alex lost both of his upper front teeth last week. I LOVE how kids look at this age... absolutely adorable... the toothless grin and the lisp. I told Alex I had to have a picture of his missing teeth. As you can tell from this first picture, he wasn't too happy to obligue. :) You can see the big holes though.... and the gorgeous big brown eyes!
Finally got him to laugh.
Alex asked the Tooth Fairy to bring him a "Zum" (webkinz). Poor kid was disappointed to discover a note from the Tooth Fairy stating that she was really sorry, but she couldn't deliver a Zum to him. She left him four quarters and told him that he could save his money for one.

Cute
Such a cutie! I vividly remember those days of missing front teeth, leaving bumpy holes in my mouth, and what it felt like to play with the gaps (smooshing mashed potatoes and other foods through the voids, much to the dismay of my mother.) Hope he enjoys this fleeting rite of passage in childhood.
My kids never lost their front teeth at the same time. This look is SO CUTE!
